7. Ascension du VOLCAN Grand Pico à FOGO
Cette excursion est idéale pour les aventurières et aventuriers amoureux de la montagne. Le niveau de difficulté de cette ascension est difficile. Il faut avoir une bonne condition physique. Vous serez accompagnés d'un guide de montagne local expérimenté. Coté sensation, la montée peut s'apparenter à un défi pour certains. Mais sachez qu'une belle récompense vous attend au sommet: une quiétude totale et une vue panoramique spectaculaire. 6. Randonnée au cratère du petit Pico de 2014, sur le volcan de FOGO
Cette randonnée, dans le cratère de Chã das Caldeiras, permet de faire une ascension vers le petit cratère formé par l'éruption volcanique de 2014. C'est le plus jeune cratère de l'île: le petit Pico. Dans ce paysage lunaire, une végétation (plantes endémiques et vignes) parvient, ici et là, à pousser. Quel paysage coloré contrasté! Une autre vision plus triste est le constat des destructions causées par les coulées de lave rejetées par ce petit cratère. Les habitants du village font preuve de courage et sont de retour après avoir quitté leurs habitations ensevelies. Tant bien que mal, ils reconstruisent leur vie à côté du volcan, pour lequel ils ont un très grand respect. Cette randonnée offre un festival des sens. Visuel, olfactif (odeur de soufre), un quasi silence effleuré par le souffle du vent. Et enfin ce contact avec ce sol de roches et laves: tout y est pour vivre une expérience "volcanique" passionnante. IMPORTANT: Minimum de participants: 2 personnes
