When booking a tour with WCE, guests are shuttled from our office location to the canyon entrance site to begin the slot canyon tour. A quiet, slow guided hiking tour with a single tour guide through Waterhole Canyon allows you to capture memorable photos of an EXPERIENCE that will last a lifetime. All participants must be 8 years and older. During the summer season, we want to inform all guests that we implement a high temperature policy. We are located in Arizona and during the summer season we can reach triple digit weather. Blue Pools is a fantastic beginner canyon. There are 3 - 4 rappels and a scramble/ hike back to the car. The largest rappel is 55 feet. We aim for this trip to take 2 - 3 hrs depending on group size. All of our trips are private so you are not waiting on anyone besides your group. You will meet your guide at the trailhead, become outfitted with the appropriate canyon gear, and then your guide will lead you down this wonderful slot canyon. This canyon has primarily been sculpted through water erosion over time to give us an obstacle course to play in. The canyon is typically dry however can hold a little water after a storm.
