Belgian Wines Tasting in a UNESCO Heritage Home in Ghent
Belgian wines is a booming and vibrant industry, yet still very small. Even in Belgium, it's hard to get hold of the wines as they come from many tiny estates scattered across the country and sold mostly in restaurants. Thanks to my background in the wine industry with sommelier courses and a wine master's degree in Bordeaux I've been able to made a selection of great tasting wines that also highlight the various aspects of Belgian winemaking. So in 1.5 hours you will get a full fledged immersion, an exclusive experience and special memories. Moreover, the experience takes place at a unique location: my penthouse is situated in one of the cosiest neighbourhoods of Gent, at a 10min walk from the city centre. The whole béguinage area is on the UNESCO heritage site list, and the house I live in was built in 1664. Outside it looks like hundreds of years ago, while inside it's been recently renovated without losing its historical veneer. It's lovely and spacious and waiting for you!

We love Mechelen and love to share it with the world. Still a hidden gem, it is very accessible from both Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent. It is quieter than the bigger cities, but has more charm in our opinion. Also, there are a lot of chocolate secrets!! We like to surprise you both with stories and chocolate tasters! Examples are hot choc, pralines, handmade chocolate, macaroons, chocolate cookies, pain au chocolat, cakes and so on. Please note that no stops are made except for taster and that locations vary (this depend on the day and time of your visit and number of people). You can ask your guide though if you want to stop for a photo. Our tours are small groups only. For safety, but also because we like to know the people we guide. We hope that you will enjoy touring with us.
