Our spots are the unique Elizabeth Bridge, Gellert Statue, Castle Garden Bazar, Clark Adam Square, Fisherman Bastion, and the Mathias Church, where we will give 15-20 minutes to enjoy the view of Pest side and take a short coffee or cake time at the Ruszwurm Bakery, which is the oldest bakery in our capital with 196 years. Later we are heading to Margaret Island to take a look at the dancing fountain. If we had enough fun at Margaret Island, we would discover the Parliament building, which is one of the biggest parliament in the world. Next stops are Liberty Square and the St. Stephen Basilica.

I use my mother’s recipe who makes the stretched version. This Strudel pastry is elastic, very thin and it is stretched by the hand. We make sweet and salty Strudel as well. Where I grew up, there were some typical fillings: poppy-seed with pumpkin, salty cabbage and sweet cottage cheese cream. Now you can make these on my special baking course. With this tour you can discover every part of the famous Buda Castle district, those parts as well, that the sightseeing tours provided by Danube cruise companies can not - due to the limited time available for sightseeing. As an extra it also includes a guided visit to the Matthias church as well. This tour is meant to be a relaxed pace walking tour, where there is always time for a slice of strudel and coffee, or to spend time admiring the views of the city. --- Kindly note that the Castle bazaar is an all time favourite venue of the Hungarian government to host diplomatic events, in case of such we wont be able to cross the facility Also should there be a concert, or wedding in the Matthias church the venue remains closed for the public. --- Kindly note that the tour can be tailor made for you, excluding those parts covered by different sightseeing tours to make sure there are no overlaps. In that case we adjust our itinerary.

In winter (Dec-Febr) the castle (gglrated 4.7 by 17500 ppl) is open from Fri-Sun , but we can always visit viewterrace (which is the main attraction). In this case I give you back 2500 huf/6 euro. Don’t risk, just come!
