Our tea ceremony offers a rare opportunity to slow down in a quiet seaside village, where guests can experience Oriental tea culture in a peaceful setting. Every session is carefully curated, combining tea, story, and calm hospitality to help guests reconnect with themselves through the art of tea. Guests are also invited to enjoy a selection of unique teaware, each piece selected to enhance the mood and atmosphere of the experience. In East Asian tradition, tea was often enjoyed alongside poetry, painting, and calligraphy — the gentle arts cherished by tea lovers. Drawing inspiration from this cultural heritage, our ceremony includes a calligraphy activity where guests can express their tea experience through brush and ink. This thoughtful practice not only adds a creative dimension to the session, but also offers a tangible keepsake that captures the spirit of stillness and reflection.

Tongdosa temple is one of my favorite temple in Korea because it is 1,400 years old and you can feel the age of the temple as you walk inside. All the Korean monks have to come here to be a monk in Korea because it enshrines a true Sarira of Sakyamuni buddha. It is lucky this beautiful temple is located within an hour away from Busan. Also Eonyang bulgogi is something you must-try while you are in Korea. This is the best Bulgogi(beef) in the country. This half-day tour will give you a pleasure to all of your five senses.

Common questions about booking Busan experiences through SimilarTours
Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are sweetest - mild weather, clear skies for coastal views, and gardens in peak form. Summer gets humid and crowded; winter is cold but quiet if you're okay with fewer outdoor options.
Private tours and multi-day trips (especially ones combining Busan with Gyeongju or Andong) fill quickly during peak seasons - aim for 2-3 weeks out if you're flexible, or earlier if you have exact dates. Single-day shore excursions can sometimes be booked with shorter notice.
Yes, especially for cultural tours to Gyeongju or Andong where history layers deep and local context matters. Private guides cut through navigation headaches and often unlock details you'd miss solo - plus they handle KTX train logistics if you're hopping regions.
Most multi-day tours include accommodation, some meals, entrance fees to temples or gardens, and ground transport. Check before you go on whether flights, train tickets between cities, or meals outside the itinerary are covered - it varies by operator.
Yes - the subway works, buses run frequently, and walking neighborhoods like Haeundae is straightforward. But if you're heading to outlying spots (Oedo Botania, Geoje Island, Boseong tea fields) or want to combine Busan with Gyeongju, a guided tour saves real time and logistics stress.
They're worth it if you want depth - a 3-4 day food-focused tour hits local spots a tourist wouldn't find, and guides explain what you're eating. Wellness tours combine spa time with cultural activities, making them feel less like a splurge and more like a real reset.
Absolutely - many operators offer customized itineraries and can adjust pace for children. Coastal day trips, botanical gardens, and train rides are family-friendly; check accessibility details and mention ages when booking so guides tailor the rhythm.

South Korea
Busan is South Korea's salt-air escape - a port city where mountains tumble into the sea and you can catch everything from coastal train rides to temple stays in a single weekend. Visitors here are mixing cultural deep-dives (Gyeongju's ancient kingdoms are a 2-hour train ride away) with food-focused explorations, spa wellness retreats, and private sightseeing loops through tea fields and archipelago islands. Most tours run 2-4 days and pair Busan with nearby regions - think heritage temples in Andong or the green slopes of Boseong - making it a natural hub for exploring Korea's eastern flank.
