The brewhouses can be quite challenging for tourists, we will tell you what makes them so special and why the rudeness of our waiters is usually a misinterpretation. You will see how funny, open-minded and tolerant our city is - and the best: we will have a lot of Kölsch beer together!
Learn about the history of our unique beer, the Kölsch, visit the brewhouses and get to know why they are the most important sight in Cologne. We will show you the variety in taste of different Kölsch beers, tell you why there are certain rules in the brewhouses and why our waiters, the Köbesse, are seen as rude (actually they are not, we promise!).
