Learn about the entire coffee production chain process, starting with the seed, we will observe different types of varietals, we will learn about the history of the grain, we will walk through a coffee plantation, we will go through the coffee mill to finish roasting the beans that will be be prepared in a delicious drink product of our land to talk about its marketing and preparation. During our walk we will learn about the biodiversity of the area, since the crop is surrounded by different types of trees, fruit trees, plants and flowers.
We are going to see the production of this grain in a Coffee Farm located in the middle of a biodiverse landscape in the heart of Colombia. During the excursion we will see how the process begins, from the sowing of the seed, its formation, its main pests and diseases, its relationship with the environment, its collection and its processing until dry parchment (as coffee is normally marketed in Colombia ). To end the activity, we will enjoy a cup of special Colombian coffee, produced in our plantation and roasted in the cooperative of coffee growers in our area.
Prior reservation, a guide will be waiting for visitors at the Utopía restaurant, this is part of the plantation and is located on the side of the road that leads from Quimbaya to Alcalá
