Walking experience with slow aperitif in the historic citrus grove

Immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of the Mediterranean countryside and enjoy an experience that recounts the history and flavours of a family that has passionately cared for their citrus grove for generations.The visit begins with a stroll through rows of citrus and olive trees, where you'll discover the landscape that characterises this extraordinary land.You'll learn the story of the producing family who, since the 1960s, have passed down knowledge, values, and love for the land. Continuing among the trees, you'll learn to recognise the different varieties of citrus and olive trees. A special focus will be on clementine, the farm's signature fruit, the focus of a small, careful and sustainable production. Once you reach the aperitif area, you'll participate in an engaging sensory workshop: essential oils extracted from the citrus grove will guide you on an olfactory journey through intense and surprising aromas.The experience ends with a generous aperitif featuring products from the farm and other Slow Food producers from Puglia, enjoyed among the citrus trees as the evening light settles over the grove.You’ll also discover the work carried out by Slow Food, with the support of the TUI Care Foundation, to safeguard Palagiano’s traditional citrus fruits, local culture and economy.
