We'll spend 8 hours aboard our Gozzo Sorrentino boat exploring the Taranto coast. Departing at 10:00 a.m., we'll visit various spots on the Mar Piccolo and Mar Grande, stopping several times to take a dip and relax. The excursion will last 8 hours and will accommodate a maximum of 10 people on board. We'll depart from the Sant'Eligio pier located in Taranto's old town, pass by the swing bridge and the Aragonese castle for the obligatory photos, enter the Mar Piccolo and reach the stone bridge, and then head out towards the Mar Grande, heading towards San Vito for our first swim. After some time there, we'll reach the Salento coast, where we'll stop to dive into the crystal-clear waters of the various beaches of Marina di Leporano (Blue Flag 2023). An experience to live our traditions and know the origins of our cuisine in the typical Apulia buildings: i trulli surrounded by a peaceful nature. The art of making the orecchiette (our traditional pasta) is part of a ritual made also of soil and wind, a time in the countryside, slowly spent for preparing our lunch collecting wild herbs, fruits, tomatoes, melons and all that our organic garden seasonaly produce.The same slow time lived by our grandmothers to prepare the daily lunch for all the family. At home, a pastry board, the flour and the wind will be the simple ingredients to make our Orecchiette. We will learn to do this particular pasta, its variations and many other secrets will be revealed. We will then partecipate to prepare meat sauce, vegetables and cheese and all necessary for lunch.
