The first stop will be in the stunning Uros Floating Islands. These islands are built by hand using layers of totora, an aquatic plant that grows in Lake Titicaca. During the visit you will learn how the islands are built and maintained, how they use the totora in their daily lives and how local families have preserved their traditions over time. Approximate visit time: 2 to 3 hours We will reach Taquile, one of the most beautiful and culturally representative islands of Lake Titicaca. You will walk along traditional trails while enjoying incredible panoramic views of the lake.
