Tumpak Sewu waterfall & volcano Bromo - start Surabaya // 2 days & 1 night

Check for yourself! Depending on the season, the water-flow is more or less. The height is about 120 m. You will be picked up at your hotel in Surabaya or at Juanda International Airport in Surabaya at 06:00 AM. The drive to Tumpak Sewu waterfalls takes about 4 hours depending on traffic conditions. After parking you hike in about 1 hour to the waterfall; take your time to absorb and observe the view. Once back at the car, your drive continues via Lumajang to Cemara Lawang village to spend the night.

With its 2702 m it is among the highest viewpoints in the area. Weather conditions order the colors in the sky and dye the view at mount Bromo.

Cross the marvelous moonlike landscape. The grey-black volcanic ashen Sand Sea is one of a kind. Take your time.

This temple is build in the Sand Sea at the foot of mount Bromo. The temple is still actively in use. When it is open, you can take a peak.

Look back every now and then as the view keeps on changing. Stand at the rim of this impressive active volcano. It's crater can be clearly seen... When ready, walk down hill back to your Jeep. Your driver is ready too. You will go back to your hotel for breakfast. Take a short rest and a refreshing shower before checking out. Then head back to Surabaya city, where you will be dropped off at your next destination.
