The Market opened in 1870 and contains a wonderful array of boutique shops aswell as a fabulous food court which caters for all tastes. From Fish and Chips to Sushi, to the Bad Girl Bakery (for very naughty boys and girls), traditional street food, the whisky shop and many more options. The Victorian market also contains a wonderful sweet shop, butchers, fish market and a chocolatier which produces Scottish inspired chocolates. Admission free but cost of foods / lunch not included in the tour.
Scotlands smallest craft gin distillery which produces PREMIUM SCOTTISH GIN, which is made from the purest water sourced directly from Loch Ness in a one batch still named Jacqueline. A chance to sample some of the wonderful great glen gin. Free entry and tasting samples included in price of your tour.

This tour will take you on a deep dive into The Singleton’s signature ‘Slow Craft’ process, highlighting why and how our methods result in such a superior malt. Of course, it is all about the taste, and you’ll be given the opportunity to do just that when they serve up three unique expressions at the end of your tour.
We offer pickup from any hotel or accommodation in Inverness or the surrounding area, as well as from the cruise ship port in Invergordon.
For cruise ship passengers, once you disembark, please follow the pedestrian route towards Invergordon town centre. As you exit the service base, you will come to a pedestrian crossing. Please cross the road, where I will be waiting for you. It typically takes around one hour for the ship to dock and for passengers to disembark.
There are usually several guides and guests in this area, but I will be holding a board with your name for easy identification. From there, we will take a short walk of approximately 200 yards to reach the vehicle. At the end of your tour, I will drop you back at the same point, allowing you to make your way easily back to the ship.
Please note that if you are arriving by cruise ship, your tour will be tailored to your ship’s schedule. We will plan to return at least one hour before the scheduled departure time to ensure a relaxed and stress free return.
