Join Master Naturalist Rebecca Lexa for a relaxed birdwatching excursion at Scappoose's Chapman Landing along the Columbia River! No matter what time of year it is, there are always plenty of native bird species to watch for on the land, in the air, and on the water. Your guide, Rebecca, is an experienced birder and educator with two decades of experience in identifying local wildlife. Questions are welcome and encouraged, so bring your curiosity no matter your age!
There will be a parking lot with gravel parking areas on the sides at the trailhead just off E. Columbia Avenue. Please do not turn down Dike Road. Please park parallel, not angled. There is a Port-a-John at the trailhead; no parking fee required for your vehicle.
