This is not a tour focused only on dates and events, it’s about understanding how people actually lived through the siege of Sarajevo.
Instead of a large group and a scripted experience, this tour is designed as a small group where there is space for questions, discussion, and a more personal approach.
A key part of the experience is the visit to a local veterans museum, where those who defended the city share their stories directly with visitors. These are perspectives that cannot be fully captured through books or documentaries.
The goal of this tour is simple: to give you a clear, human understanding of what Sarajevo went through.
From this vantage point, you’ll clearly see how the siege ring was formed and understand how Sarajevo became completely surrounded.
Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Drive along one of the most dangerous streets during the siege. As you pass through Sniper Alley, you’ll learn what daily life looked like for civilians living at the bottom of the valley, where even the simplest movement could mean exposure to danger.
Learn how and why it was built, how it functioned, and why it became a lifeline for food, supplies, and survival.
