Every tour in Herzegovina stops at Kravica Waterfalls. Most give you 45 minutes to an hour. You barely have time to get down to the water before it's back on the bus. This one is different. You get 4 hours at the falls — enough time to swim, have lunch by the water, and explore the full arc of the cascade without watching the clock. On the way, we make a quick stop at Bunski Kanali, where the Neretva and Buna rivers meet over a limestone barrier. A 10-minute photo stop that most visitors never see. On the return, we visit Počitelj — a compact Ottoman-era village built into a hillside above the Neretva River, with a fortress, a mosque, and views that photograph well. Back in Mostar by early afternoon.

Some views are beautiful — but some you actually feel. This experience takes you just above Mostar to the Skywalk on Fortica Hill, where the city suddenly opens beneath your feet and the horizon seems endless. It’s not only about seeing Mostar from above; it’s about that first step onto the glass platform. A mix of excitement, adrenaline, laughter, and a little bit of courage — because standing above the city on transparent glass is something you don’t forget easily. We keep the experience relaxed and personal, like exploring with local friends rather than joining a crowded tour. There’s time to enjoy the view, take incredible photos, breathe the fresh mountain air, and simply enjoy the moment together. If you’re looking for a short but unforgettable highlight of Mostar - this is it.

Common questions about booking Mostar experiences through SimilarTours
Late spring through early autumn works best - you'll want good weather for the Ciro Trail treks and waterfall visits. Summer gets hot and crowded; winter's quieter but conditions on mountain routes get trickier. Check before you go if you're booking a multi-day hiking tour, as some operators adjust schedules by season.
Multi-day trails like the 4-day Ciro to Trebinje or 6-day self-guided Mostar-Dubrovnik route book weeks ahead during peak season. Day tours to Kravice Waterfalls have more flexibility, but booking a few days out gives you better pick of times. For airport transfers, a day or two notice usually works.
Yes, especially for the longer Ciro trails - local guides know water crossings, safe camping spots, and the historical weight of the routes. Day tours to Kravice also benefit from someone who knows the best light and shortest paths. Self-guided options exist too if you're confident with navigation and fitness.
The airport transfers people book here (to Zagreb, Plitvice, Srebrenica, Banja Luka, Doboj, Tuzla) show how scattered the region is - rental car or organized transport are your main options. Within Mostar itself, it's walkable, but getting to Kravice Waterfalls or starting a trail requires either a guide or your own wheels.
The 4-day Mostar-Trebinje route is the shorter option; the 6-day Mostar-Dubrovnik is the full experience. Both are hiking-focused and not casual strolls. Check before you go for fitness requirements and what's included in terms of meals and accommodation.
The old town's cobblestone streets and the Stari Most bridge are steep and uneven - not ideal for strollers or limited mobility. The Kravice Waterfalls tour is more accessible if you stick to viewing spots rather than swimming. For families, day tours work better than the multi-day trail treks.
Airport transfers are usually driver-only; day tours like Kravice typically include transport and a guide, sometimes lunch. Multi-day Ciro trails include accommodation, meals, and route guidance - check the specific tour details before booking. Bachelor party packages are all-inclusive but cater to a specific crowd.

Bosnia and Herzegovina
Mostar sits where the Neretva River cuts through limestone cliffs, and it's the kind of place that pulls you in with Ottoman architecture and Balkan intensity. Visitors here book serious experiences - multi-day hiking trails like the Ciro Route down to Trebinje or Dubrovnik, private tours to Kravice Waterfalls, and airport transfers that connect you to the wider region (Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Srebrenica). It's not a soft city. People come for landscape, history, and the kind of adventure that requires actual planning.
