Sand Routes and Mirages Dunes of Baní and Immersion to the South

Baní Dunes: The Desert by the Sea Our first dive is to the Dunes of Calderas Natural Monument. We will walk through mountains of fine sand that rise to 35 meters, surrounded by a unique endemic flora. It’s the perfect time to connect with the silence of the desert and capture photographs that look like they’ve been taken from a Saharan dream.

We will visit the iconic Baní Salt Flats. Here, the earth turns into white crystals and the lagoons are tinged with pink tones depending on sunlight. You will learn about artisanal salt extraction, a tradition that has shaped the identity of this town for centuries.

It is time to relax in the crystal clear waters of Playa Salinas. A peaceful corner with constant breeze and breathtaking views of the bay. You can swim, unwind under palm trees or just watch the leisurely pace of coastal life.

Before returning, we will stop at the famous Corn Square and iconic typical candy shops. We will taste the famous Baní sweets and know the local crafts. It's the perfect closure, taking a little bit of Southern sweetness with you.
