What to expect

Salzburg city walking routes

Your experience is a full walking tour of Salzburg delivered through your mobile app, combining over 15 points of interest into two curated options: "Salzburg Essential" and "The New Salzburg." You decide which route to follow first and how long to spend at each stop.

Features

• Highlights along the routes include iconic attractions such as Mozart’s Birthplace and the Church of San Cayetano, which are included on the route so you can pause near each site and listen to the story behind it. Across the 2-hour self-guided walking tour, the app points out more than 15 stops that bring different parts of the city into focus.

• Tour content is available directly in the app in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian, and German, so you can follow commentary in the language you feel most comfortable with as you move between Salzburg Essential and The New Salzburg.

• This is a 100% autonomous experience with no physical guides, giving you a private guided tour on your mobile where you control the pace, order of stops, and any breaks you take.

• The app provides recommendations on gastronomy and family activities in Salzburg, helping you decide where to eat or what to do next as you pass through different neighborhoods.

• Once activated, your access to the tour in the DareMapp app is available 24/7, 365 days a year, and it never expires, so you can revisit Salzburg Essential or The New Salzburg routes on future visits or spread the 2-hour tour over multiple sessions.
