Reindeer and Snowmobile Day Trip to Borealis Basecamp with Lunch

It is a 45 minute drive North on the world famous Elliott Highway to Borealis Basecamp. We are located in the heart of the Boreal Forest, with panoramic views of the valley. Included in your package is a 1-hour snowmobile tour and a 30-minute long reindeer meet and greet tour. You will drive your own snowmobile on a groomed trail through the Boreal Forest, with views of the Trans Alaska Pipeline and more. On this 30 minute long tour, you have the chance to meet our resident Alaskan born reindeer. They live at Basecamp year round, living on a diet of reindeer feed and natural treats. Your tour guide will show you how reindeer live in the Alaskan Arctic year round and give you the opportunity to feed and take photos with them! Lunch is held at Latitude 65, our on-site restaurant. The menu consists of hot and cold sandwiches, noodle dishes, and a rotating menu of features and fresh soups. You may also take part in some of our complimentary resort activities. You depart from Borealis Basecamp at 4:30pm. Please note that if we have insufficient snow to run the snowmobile, we will be using utv's as a replacement vehicle.
