The Grand Prismatic Spring can be viewed unclose or from the overlook hike,. it is located in the Midway Geyser Basin. There are a couple of ways to access a view for this iconic feature. Your Guide will discuss these and determine the best way for you and your group to see and photograph this feature.

The Midway Geyser Basin offers a short stunning boardwalk stroll past the iconic, rainbow-hued Grand Prismatic Spring and the massive Excelsior Geyser Crater, with opportunities to see to see the Turquoise Pool and Opal Pool, creating an unforgettable, colourful, and steamy experience perfect for families. Watching Old Faithful Geyser erupt is a Yellowstone National Park tradition. Old Faithful is one of nearly 500 geysers in Yellowstone and one of six that park rangers currently predict. It is uncommon to be able to predict geyser eruptions with regularity and the Old Faithful has lived up to it's name.
