Also known as the Fortifications of Xi'an, it is one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world and the most complete city wall that has survived in China. The wall has a height of 12 meters (40 feet), a width of 12-14 meters (40-46 feet) at the top, and a thickness of 15-18 meters (50-60 feet) at the bottom. It stretches for 13.7 kilometers (8.5 miles) in length with a deep moat surrounding it. At every 120 meters, there is a rampart that extends from the main wall to defend against enemies climbing up. There are a total of 98 ramparts, each with a sentry building where soldiers could protect the entire wall without exposing themselves to the enemy. This is a great opportunity to explore the ancient military defense system and learn about the history of China's imperial past. Then drive back to your hotel, the tour will be finished then.
