Private Vineyards Tour & Wine Tasting in Collio and Udine

In this first small scale vineyard we will be walking among the vineyard, talking with the people in charge of making the wine and understanding the basic of winemaking in the area. We will visit the wine cellar, understanding the history behind the ageing and bottling of the local wine. We will end with a guided tasting with all the wines produced by the vinery and there will be the opportunity to buy the wines at a discount rate.

In the very heart of the Collio region, we will grab a light lunch at a local typical eatery loved by the locals, tasting some more wine and eating some typical local food, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

We will be visiting another family run small winery in the afternoon, in Prepotto area. After admiring the splendid view, we will be touring the wine cellar, the fields and get a deeper understanding of how the soil can offer such a diversity in wine making. We will be ending with a detailed guided tasting of the wines produced. There will be the opportunity to buy some wine at a discounted price.
