Oyster Farm & Complimentary Tasting Sea Kayak Tour in Casco Bay

ks, we carry our sea kayaks down to the water and launch. We will paddle as a group in NW Casco Bay to one of these two oyster farms: Mere Point Oyster Company or Love Point Oysters based on weather conditions and tides. While heading to the oyster farm we'll be looking for wildlife, lobstermen hauling, and learning about the history of the area. Photo opportunities are everywhere and your guide will take some candid photos. After learning all about oyster farming and how the oysters help clean the water, we will stop for a break on an island where everyone will get to taste raw oysters either plain, with citrus, hot sauce or Alice's Awesome Adventures Maine Blueberry Mignonette Sauce. There will be time to explore the shoreline or enjoy the views. We will return to our starting point, carry our kayaks up and debrief. If conditions at normal starting point are unsafe, the tour might be need to be adjusted. Be sure to check your email or texts. Tips are customary at the end of the trip.
