Open Studio Thursdays at Neon Paint Place

Skip the guided steps and paint whatever's actually in your head. Open Studio Thursdays is Baltimore's only open-format art night, no instructor telling you what to paint, just a blacklight-lit studio, good music, and instructors on hand if you want creative direction or a nudge in the right direction. Bring your own canvas in any size, or use one of ours, either way, all paint and supplies are included. It's BYOB (21+ with ID), snack-friendly (just nut-free, please), and genuinely fun for all ages, making it just as great for a family night as it is for a group of friends looking for something different to do on a Thursday.

Whether you're a seasoned painter or you haven't touched a brush since grade school, this is your night to make something that's actually yours, under glowing blacklight, with the freedom to create without rules.

What you'll do

Join us every Thursday for Open Studio Sip & Paint Night at Neon Paint Place!
This is a relaxed, no-pressure painting experience where you call the shots. Unlike our guided sessions, Open Studio is not instructor led, giving you the freedom to paint whatever inspires you, at your own pace. Our instructors will still be on hand if you'd like a little guidance, a helpful tip, or some creative direction along the way. What's Included All supplies and one canvas are included with your $25 per person ticket. Want to paint more than one piece, or go bigger? Feel free to bring your own additional canvas to work on alongside us. Bring Your Own Drink This is a BYOB event for guests 21 and older. Bring your favorite bottle and enjoy a glass while you paint. We provide water glasses and wine glasses, so all you need to bring is the drink. The Vibe Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a girls' night out. Open Studio is the perfect way to unwind, get creative, and enjoy a laid back evening in our neon lit studio, every Thursday at Neon Paint Place.

Pickup details

Guests should head straight to Neon Paint Place at 307 W Baltimore St, Baltimore, MD 21201. Upon arrival, please have your ticket and a valid ID ready to show the receptionist at the front desk, and they'll get you checked in and settled for the class.
