This special Newcastle upon Tyne pub tour blends rich local history, spectacular riverside scenery, and some of the city’s best-loved pubs into one incredible tour.
We begin in the historic heart of the city, enjoying carefully chosen pubs as we make our way past the Castle that gave Newcastle its name and down towards the River Tyne. Along the route, you’ll hear how this once-industrial powerhouse grew into one of Britain’s most vibrant and characterful cities.
Our walk leads us into the world-famous Quayside, widely regarded as one of the most iconic nightlife districts in Britain. With its sweeping river views, striking modern architecture, and legendary bridges, it’s an area packed with atmosphere by day and electric with life by night. .
We then cross the magnificent High Level Bridge — famous not only as an engineering masterpiece but also as one of the very best viewpoints in the city. Our final pub is just at the far end.
A free drink is included in each pub that we visit.
