Our first pub is here, it would be a shame not to see and learn a little about this grand old famous railway station.

It may be the most lavish pub too with an interior said to cost tens of millions of pounds.

As we go around the city we will learn a little about some of the places we see and none are finer than this veritable Tyneside institution.

See the famous castle that gave this city its name all the way back in the 11th century. We might see a few ruins from the Roman (old) castle that date back a thousand or so years earlier nearby,

also has some fantastic ruins in the garden!
