Your expert guide will introduce you to Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau and share the evolution of Voodoo, a religion that arrived with the first West African slaves in 1719 and is still practiced today.

Some stories will even be brought to life with our new Augmented Reality Software created by New Orleanian Marcus Brown, a sculptor, painter, inventor, musician and educator whose expansive work includes national and international exhibits and performances. Wear comfortable shoes, as this is a walking tour on uneven sidewalks and streets.
The tour takes place on uneven and narrow paths, so alternate routes may be necessary for guests in wheelchairs.
Check in 15 minutes in advance at the Lighthouse Ticket Office at 400 Toulouse St. (Steamboat NATCHEZ dock, behind JAX Brewery).
Reservations are recommended at least 24 hours in advance.
Please walk to the meeting point if possible to help preserve the French Quarter from vehicular traffic.
