What you'll do

During this unique experience in a farmhouse immersed in the Apulian countryside
you will have the opportunity to discover the ancient art of ceramics, together with a master potter with decades of experience. The activity will begin with a brief theoretical introduction, during which the characteristics of the lands used and the processing techniques, both ancient and modern, will be illustrated. Next, you will literally put your “hands in paste”: you will learn how to shape clay, recognize its ideal consistency and use the lathe to create harmonious shapes only with the movement of your hands. The teacher will accompany you at every stage with explanations, anecdotes and secrets handed down over the centuries, making the experience even more engaging and authentic. Those who wish can leave their creation in the farm for the final cooking and receive it later at home as a souvenir. The experience will end with a light aperitif, to savor the tastes of the territory and relax after a creative and immersive activity.
