Your Experience

Once you arrive at Marino Ballena National Park, you board your boat and navigate the coast for approximately three hours in search of whales and dolphins. You cruise past beautiful rock formations, Roca Ballena, Las Cavernas in front of Playa Ventana, Roca Viuda and Tres Hermanas, and may spot pilot whales and humpback whales with their babies as they migrate along the warm waters of the Central Pacific. If conditions allow, you can jump off the boat for a swim or a snorkel. Please note: whale sightseeing is not an exact science and sightings cannot be guaranteed, though chances are very high in season. The tour operates from July 15 to October 15, with departures on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Bring sunglasses with a retainer cord, a bathing suit, a waterproof camera, sandals, and a beach towel for your comfort and enjoyment during the tour.
Whale sightings are not guaranteed, but chances are very high during the tour.
The tour operates from July 15th to October 15th, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only.
Pick-up is from Manuel Antonio at 7:00am; if you are using hotel pick-up, please be ready 30 minutes prior to departure.
The tour duration is 6 hours.
A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 participants are required for the tour to operate.
