Lofoten Northern Lights Hunt Guided Tour from Svolvær

The tour begins in Svolvær, where you meet your local guide before setting off into the Lofoten Islands in search of clear skies and the Northern Lights.

Travel through the spectacular landscapes of the Lofoten Islands while your guide continuously follows the latest weather forecasts and aurora activity. The route changes each evening to maximize the chances of seeing the Northern Lights.

Stop at carefully selected viewpoints away from light pollution to experience the Northern Lights. Depending on weather conditions, there may be several photo stops during the evening.

Continue the search for clear skies while enjoying stories about Arctic life, local culture and the science behind the Aurora Borealis. Warm drinks are served during one of the stops.

The return journey to Svolvær is also part of the experience. We continue watching the sky, and if the Aurora appears or becomes stronger, we may make additional stops to give you even more opportunities to experience and photograph the Northern Lights.
