Get ready for a 2-hour tour of pure adventure and adrenaline! Our experience begins at our private farm. After a safety briefing and practice ride. We start by riding through muddy trails, crossing small rivers and streams, and driving through natural puddles—all surrounded by beautiful rainforest. The terrain is fun and a bit challenging, with bumps, mud, and uneven paths that make the ride exciting. We continue along scenic rainforest trails to the Arenal River area, our turnaround point. On the way back, we stop for fresh fruit and light snacks before continuing the adventure. One of the best things about an ATV adventure in La Fortuna is that every day can offer something different. On a sunny day, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Arenal Volcano and the lush green rainforest. When it rains, the trails become muddier, splashier, and even more adventurous. Rain or shine, the experience is all about getting out into nature, enjoying the trails, and having fun on an ATV!

What you'll do

(30 minute pick up service)
Transportation is included with your tour. Pickup is available from downtown La Fortuna and nearby accommodations approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled tour time. One day before the activity, we will send you a message confirming your specific pickup time and location, which will depend on your accommodation’s location. If you are using our transportation service, please be ready at the scheduled pickup time. Our transportation will wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. After that, the reservation will be considered a no-show. Participants may also arrive directly at the Original Arenal ATV location. For direct arrivals, 7:50 AM is the arrival time for the 8:00 AM tour, 11:20 AM is the arrival time for the 11:30 AM tour, and 2:50 PM is the arrival time for the 3:00 PM tour. We’ll wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the scheduled arrival time. After that, the reservation will be marked as a no-show.

Our tour begins at the private farm La Naciente, just minutes from downtown La Fortuna. Here, the adventure starts as you ride through muddy trails, drive through natural puddles, and cross small rivers and streams, all surrounded by beautiful rainforest. The terrain is fun and a bit challenging, with bumps, mud, and uneven paths that make the experience exciting from the very beginning. On clear days, we also stop at scenic spots where you can capture great photos with the Arenal Volcano in the background.
(20-minute ATV ride to La Guaria town)
La Guaria is a charming and picturesque village nestled in the heart of the Costa Rican countryside. This small community offers a glimpse into the authentic rural lifestyle of the region. With its modest yet beautiful church and a traditional pulpería (local store), La Guaria reflects the simplicity and warmth of local culture. Enjoy a scenic ride on your ATV along open paved roads as you explore and discover this unique part of the area.
(25 minutes to reach and enjoy the Arenal River and enjoy fresh fruits)
We continue riding along the trails until we reach the Arenal River area, enjoying the surrounding rainforest and scenic landscapes along the way. On the way back, we take a break to enjoy fresh fruit and light snacks before continuing the adventure.

(30 minutes in the jungle)
In this section, we enter another private area of La Naciente, riding through exciting muddy trails and rugged paths across the property. You’ll drive your ATV under the rainforest canopy of La Fortuna, making this part of the ride especially fun and immersive. This marks the end of the tour before heading back for transportation.

After the tour, we provide drop-off back to your hotel in downtown La Fortuna and nearby areas.
