Spend a half day at Koh Samui Elephant Kingdom Sanctuary, where rescued Asian elephants roam freely in a lush environment.

Getting started

Your experience begins with hotel pick-up from selected areas in Koh Samui in the morning or afternoon. On arrival at the sanctuary, meet your guide for an introductory session about Asian elephants, their history and behaviour, and the rescued elephants living at the sanctuary.

What to expect

• Learn about the elephants at the sanctuary and understand more about their behaviour and daily lives in an ethical, observation-only setting.

• Discover what elephants eat and learn how to prepare nutritious medicine balls designed to support their health.

• Head onto the elevated skywalk, where you can feed the friendly elephants and observe them in the lush sanctuary surroundings.

• Walk alongside the elephants as they make their way to the mud pit, then observe them playing and spending time in the mud.

• Take a break with a buffet featuring Thai and Western dishes, beverages, and seasonal fresh fruit.

• After lunch, return to the skywalk for a final opportunity to observe the elephants before your hotel drop-off in Koh Samui.
