Meet your professional mountain guide at the Jonkershoek entrance before driving deeper into the valley framed by towering peaks. After a safety and route briefing, begin a steady climb that soon becomes a steep, rocky ascent, gaining over 1,000 meters of elevation in a relatively short distance. Your guide sets a safe, sustainable pace with regular rest stops and time to enjoy the scenery. From the high ridge, take in panoramic views of the Stellenbosch mountains, deep gorges, and fynbos-covered slopes.
