Grewingk Glacier Lake Hike in Kachemak Bay State Park

8am - 1:30pm | Glacier Spit Trailhead to Saddle Trailhead Distance: 4.7 miles from Glacier Spit Trailhead to Saddle Trailhead OR 6.7 miles from Glacier Spit Trailhead to Saddle Trailhead with tram detour 8am - Depart from Homer Harbor 8:30am - Drop off at Glacier Spit Trailhead Start on Glacier Lake Trail. Follow this trail to the Grewingk Glacier Lake. Hang out at the lake and enjoy view of the glacial ice. To head to your pick up head to Saddle Trail and descend down the Saddle trail to your pickup location. It is about 1 hr from the lake. 12:45pm - Pick up from Saddle Trailhead 1:30pm - Drop off at Homer Harbor 12:00pm - 4:15pm | Saddle Trailhead to Saddle Trailhead Distance: 3 miles 12:00pm - Depart from Homer Harbor 12:45pm - Drop off at Saddle Trailhead Start on Saddle Trail. You'll hike up switchbacks until the trail intersects with Glacier Lake Trail. You'll follow this trail until you reach Grewingk Glacier Lake. When it's time to return, you'll make your descent down Saddle Trail to get picked up. 4:15pm - Pick up from Saddle Trailhead 5:00pm - Drop off at Homer Harbor NOTE: This is a self guided hike, we provide drop off and pick up.
