Step down into a world carved over hundreds of millions of years — the light, the silence, the scale of it. Move at a human pace with our locally certified and licensed guide, who brings 15 years on these trails and the kind of presence that lets you settle in and actually be there. No fixed route. Chris designs the hike on the day, shaped around how you're feeling, your fitness, and the conditions — so you're never pushed past your edge or held back from one. Pause at hidden alcoves the day-trippers walk past. Taste the Mormon tea growing trailside. Hear how the people who lived here for centuries solved problems with the agave at your feet. Sit at overlooks chosen for their soul, not just their angles. Enjoy a fresh trail lunch packed by your guide. You'll learn the smart pacing and trail craft that make the climb back up feel earned, not endured. And somewhere along the way — usually in a quiet moment on the rim — most of our guests find something they didn't know they were looking for. Slow down. Listen. Leave with the canyon still in you.
Your Canyon guide will meet you outside the Visitors Center. Our team will reach out to you 24-28 hours prior to the date of your excursion to exact details and to go over the flow of the day. This is also the time to ask any last minute questions you may have.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
