Getting started

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your Rainbow Beach accommodation. After check-in and a short safety briefing, you’ll head to Inskip Point and board the ferry to K’gari.

What to expect

• Central Station & Wanggoolba Creek: Walk among ancient ferns and towering gums at this historic logging site turned tranquil rainforest retreat.

• Lake McKenzie: Take a dip in the stunningly clear waters of this perched lake, famous for its white silica sand and vivid hues.

• 75 Mile Beach: Drive along the island’s expansive coastal highway, keeping an eye out for dingoes, birds of prey, and humpback whales during migration season (July–October).
