This private day tour takes you on a journey through some of the most beautiful countryside in Australia. Locals go for the Region, not the Margaret River township. There are many Attractions, Wineries, Breweries, Caves, Forest drives and stunningly beautiful beaches in the region and I will guide you to places that suit your taste. Margaret Rivers wineries are internationally celebrated and it is one of the most environmentally diverse regions in the world. The township of Margaret River is approximately four hours south of Perth and for many this sounds like a challenging drive. I include stops along the way which are historical, cultural, naturally beautiful, local and fun! Specially selected small country towns and locations are chosen for the unique characteristics which make them stand out from the ordinary. The tour can be customised to include your special interests and offers the experience that suits you. Not all options listed in the itinerary are possible.

Common questions about booking Perth experiences through SimilarTours
Three to four days lets you explore the city itself and take a shorter excursion - say, a day trip to Rottnest or a two-day jaunt to Busselton and the caves. If you've got a week, you can add Margaret River or push north toward Ningaloo. Ten days gives you the luxury of a proper regional adventure.
Multi-day small-group or private tours (the kind that fill up fastest) should ideally be booked 2-4 weeks ahead, especially during school holidays and the September-to-April peak season. Day trips and air tours have a bit more flexibility, but checking a month out is still smart.
Self-driving works fine for Margaret River or Busselton, but most people book guided tours for the longer hauls - Ningaloo is 1,200km north, and the Pinnacles or Wave Rock require decent navigation and local knowledge to do right. A guide also saves you research time and often includes stops you'd miss on your own.
It varies widely. Some all-inclusive packages cover accommodation, meals, and transport. Others are guide-only and you arrange your own lodging. Check the tour details before booking - all-inclusive tours take the planning stress out of longer trips.
Shorter private tours (like the Busselton and caves option) tend to be more flexible about accessibility needs. For longer adventures like the cape-to-cape walk, ask the operator about difficulty levels and support options before committing. Family-friendly options exist, but check before you go.
September to November (spring) and March to May (autumn) offer the most comfortable weather for walking and exploring. December to February gets hot, and June to August is cooler and drier. Ningaloo's whale season peaks April to June, which is worth timing your trip around if that matters to you.
The city centre is walkable and has buses, but most of the worthwhile day trips and multi-day tours include transport or assume you're being picked up. If you're staying longer and want to explore Margaret River or nearby beaches independently, a rental car makes sense.

Australia
Perth is a sprawling coastal city that serves as your jumping-off point for some of Western Australia's most striking natural attractions. Most visitors here book multi-day tours that push inland to see the Pinnacles and Wave Rock, head north to Ningaloo Reef for marine life, or venture into Margaret River wine country. You can also take a quick flight to Rottnest Island or Shark Bay, or commit to longer adventures like the cape-to-cape walk or the journey down to Adelaide. The tours on offer lean toward small groups and private options, which means you're not herding around in a coach with 50 other people.
