The day involves approximately 8 km of moderate walking, including a steeper descent into the gorge. Please note: the boat ride operates during the summer season; on winter dates it is replaced by extended time at Bastei Bridge and the Tisa Rocks labyrinth.

Wear sturdy or sports shoes, as hiking trails can be uneven and the experience involves approximately 8 km of moderate walking, including a steeper descent into the gorge with an elevation difference of about 100 meters.
Wear weather-appropriate clothing and consider bringing a light rain jacket.
In summer months, sunscreen and a hat are recommended for sun protection.
