Getting started

Arrive at the workshop space in Da Nang and check in for your scheduled session. After a short introduction to the studio setup, your English-speaking local instructor explains the flow of the class and safety basics. You then put on aprons and protective gear and move to your candle-making station, where all materials and tools are already laid out for you.

What to expect

This single-session workshop combines scented candle making and pottery so you can complete two creative projects in one visit. You will finish with a soy candle and a handmade pottery piece that you have crafted yourself.

Features

• Start with candle making as you work with soy wax and natural essential oils to create your own scented soy candle. You experiment with fragrance blends so your 1 scented candle item per guest reflects your preferred scent profile.

• Continue at the pottery area where you create a handmade pottery piece using traditional techniques. The instructor demonstrates each step so you can shape, refine, and decorate a piece that becomes a second unique souvenir from Da Nang.

• Throughout the class, an English-speaking local instructor is on hand to guide you, answer questions, and offer practical tips on both candle and pottery techniques. The experience is available either as a private workshop, only your group, or as a join-in workshop with shared group, depending on the option you select.

• All candle and pottery materials, tools are provided on site, so there is no need to bring supplies. You also use aprons, protective gear to keep your clothes and hands clean while you work at the different stations.

• During short breaks, you can relax with herbal tea, water, local snacks that are included as part of the session. This is also a good time to take photos of your work in progress for creative memories of your time in Da Nang.
