Not just a cooking class. A seat at Nonna’s table.
For a few hours, you’re not just visiting Sicily — you’re part of it.
We keep our classes small, with a maximum of 6 guests, creating a personal and intimate experience from the moment you arrive.
You’ll meet a real Sicilian nonna, learn the recipes she has grown up with, hear her stories and traditions, and cook authentic dishes side-by-side with her. She’ll share family secrets, traditional techniques and little tricks passed down through generations, while our host ensures every story and cooking tip is shared.
But
the experience doesn’t end when the cooking is finished. During the “Dopopranzo”, we sit together around the table, share local wine, exchange stories and talk about food, family and life in Sicily.
Nonna will know your name, hear your stories and make you feel welcome at her table. You arrive as a guest. You leave with the feeling of having spent time with a Sicilian family.
Buon appetito e salute!
You are not simply following a standard cooking lesson with a chef — you are learning from a real Sicilian nonna, using recipes that belong to her family and have been passed down through generations. The experience is deliberately small, with no more than 6 guests, allowing genuine interaction rather than a large-group, commercial atmosphere. Every class is different because every Nonna has her own recipes, stories, personality and way of cooking. We also believe food is a way to connect cultures. While cooking, guests are encouraged to share their own traditions, memories and stories, creating a genuine exchange between people from different parts of the world. There is no scripted performance or tourist show, just real people, real family recipes and genuine Sicilian hospitality.
We will pick you up at Piazza San Domenico in Palermo. The apartment where the cooking class takes place is on Via Roma, just a 5-minute walk from the meeting point.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
