Bergen by car private tour with local food tasting

Your private driver-guide meets you at the lobby of your hotel in Bergen center, or at the gate of your cruise ship terminal. The first part of the tour introduces you to Bergen’s center. You’ll be transported by private car around the city, but this tour also gives you an opportunity to explore on foot, so please be prepared to do some walking during the tour. The guide will take you to Bryggen, a World Heritage Site.

From the Wharf it’s a short walk to the Bergenhus Fortress.

After Bergenhus Fortress you will have a trip to Edvard Grieg’s museum and villa Troldhaugen, where the excellent composer lived and worked (entrance tickets included).

Admire Bergen Cathedral.It is the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Bjørgvin as well as the seat of the "Bergen domkirke" parish and the seat of the Bergen domprosti (arch-deanery).

By returning to Bergen you will visit the picturesque Fish Market – one of Norway’s most visited outdoors markets. The Fish Market sells seafood, fruit, and vegetables. The guide will give you insight of local life and local history and of course Norwegian traditional food culture. After your tour ends, your guide takes you back to your hotel or cruise ship port.
