What you'll do

Your starting point is the Lange Wapper Statue at Steenplein

The trail moves through the medieval core of Antwerp, between the riverfront and the cathedral quarter. Het Steen — the 13th-century riverside fortress that is Antwerp's oldest building — is an early clue location, with a riddle that asks you to study the stonework rather than the view. Stoelstraat 11 brings a photo challenge that puts the group to work at one of the old town's most characterful addresses. The Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal, with its 123-metre Gothic spire visible from most of the city centre, features in an observation task that rewards taking time to study the facade details. Antwerp's compact historic centre makes it easy to pause between stops.
