Wheelchair access: The train is wheelchair accessible. Platforms are plowed, but some stops are remote drop-off areas where temperatures can fall as low as -40°F. Guests using wheelchairs should arrange destination assistance ahead of time.
Smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the train cars.
Adventure Class: Your ticket includes a reserved seat in Adventure Class, with single-level railcars, forward-facing reclining seats, generous legroom, and storage space.
Station details: Your booking confirmation will provide the relevant check-in and boarding information for your departure station.
Baggage: Checked baggage is handled at the Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Fairbanks depots only. At other stops, the onboard conductor and supervisor assist with luggage and boarding.
Dining: Dining cars are available on all Alaska Railroad trains except the Hurricane Turn Train. Meals and beverages can be purchased separately and are not included in your ticket.
