A Day with Reindeer Herders

We are local reindeer herders, and we invite you to join us in your daily work! Your journey starts early in the morning - we will pick you up from your accommodation and drive about half an hour to your starting point. From there, you’ll travel through the wilderness in a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile to reach the large reindeer herd. You can take part in feeding the reindeer herd and learn about reindeer herding. After feeding the reindeer, we will build a fire in the forest, grill sausages, and share insights into reindeer herding and the local culture.
