4-Day Tour of Cumberland

Arrival: 12;00pm You Arrive at the information Center of our office, where we would welcome you on your arrival to the City of Cumberland.

We suggest to spend some time either in Morning before we start the City Tour or in the evening before dinner to engage in some outdoor activities, such as visiting, walking, biking, or driving through a Trail or walking in a Park & Forest, C&O Canal National Historical Park & Towpath. Live Events - To be determined Depending on the exact dates you book your trip, this will determine live event we would schedule for this night. We know as travelers, you may need some things, you can use this time to see what the city offers and do that. Basically, discover the lifestyle of the city.

We start a tour of the Town on Day two with a Ride first to see the Allegany County Courthouse. The Courthouse is situated on the site of the old Fort Cumberland, overlooking the Potomac on one side and Wills Creek on the other.

Next Tour: Starts At 10:40 Emmanuel Parish of the Episcopal Church dates back to 1803, foundations laid in 1849 and completed in 1851. Built on the foundations of Fort Cumberland (1755) in the historic district.

Next Tour At: 14:30pm The visitor center features a spacious exhibit area full of interactive displays about the history of the C&O Canal and Cumberland.

1812 Brewery is the first and only farm brewery in Allegany County, Maryland. The family owned and operated craft brewery and brew house is located in a repurposed barn built in 1812. 1812 Brewery offers great space for parties, meetings and other events.

City Tour We begin the Tour of the City of Cumberland. We would take a Drive through and describe the city. We would stop at some places.

Since 1975, the Allegany Arts Council has been the official "umbrella" organization for the arts in Allegany County, Maryland. The art council is one of several anchors in the City's vibrant Arts & Entertainment District.

Check-in: 11;13a.m ​The Allegany Museum inspires visitors to discover the unique heritage of its region and its contribution to the nation’s development. The museum currently has a collection of over 50,000 items.

Siesta/Break Time at 13:00 We go back to the hotel after the last tour and take some rest before Dinner. This will be a private time too to do something else you may like.

We meet back at the office where we can conclude the tour and wish everyone a safe journey back to their respective destinations. We also provide support if you need to get to the airport or the train station.
