3 Day Amazon Jungle Adventure Wildlife Culture and Pink Dolphins

A short drive west takes us to the stunning Lake Acajatuba, where we hop on a canoe and cruise to our rustic riverside lodge. After dropping off your bags, enjoy a scenic boat ride to get familiar with the surrounding

ife like birds, monkeys, and even sloths (no guarantees — animals roam free here!). Next, test your skills piranha fishing — catch one and it might be on your dinner plate tonight! As night falls, we return to the water in search of caymans and nocturnal animals. The jungle comes alive with sound. Look up — the Amazon night sky is breathtaking.

Learn to set traps, identify medicinal plants, and discover ancient techniques used by native people.

Discover their way of life, explore their plantations, and learn how they make manioc flour — a staple food of Amazonian culture. Next, we visit a dolphin research platform dedicated to studying and protecting the rare pink river dolphins. 
Here, you'll learn about their behavior and biology — and get the incredible chance to swim alongside them in their natural environment. (Bring swimsuit and towel!)

We have a big chance to see spiders, owls and other night creatures.

After breakfast, we leave the lodge and head to a new stretch of the Negro River.

Visit an indigenous community originally from the Colombia border. You'll experience ancient rituals, traditional dances, and taste local food — a deep and respectful cultural exchange.

️ If the water levels allow, we’ll relax at a white-sand beach and enjoy a swim in the warm, dark waters of the Rio Negro.

Then we visit a giant water lily lake, a surreal and peaceful place for nature lovers and photographers alike.

️ Next stop: a fascinating floating village where over 100 families live on wooden houses that rise and fall with the river. Schools, shops, churches — all floating!

At a floating fish farm, you'll meet the legendary Pirarucu, the Amazon's biggest freshwater fish with scales. Try feeding one — they can grow up to 2 meters long!

Finally, experience the jaw-dropping Meeting of the Waters, where the dark Rio Negro and sandy Amazon River flow side by side without mixing — a phenomenon only found here. Estimated return to your hotel in Manaus: around 5:00 PM.
