This workshop activity from Honrado Vineyards distinguishes itself by offering an authentic immersion in the artisanal vinification of Talha Wine. Designed tailor-made, it focuses exclusively on the millennial techniques of Roman heritage and the use of clay pots, taking place in the historic setting of the Adega-Museu Cella Vinaria Antiqua, in Villa de Frades. More than a conventional technical learning, it is an experience of active preservation of the heritage, culture and alive identity of Alentejo.
This session, intimate and educational, invites participants to go down to the heart of the cellar to get to know the critical decisions that shape each wine: from the rigorous selection of the castes in the field to patient follow-up of natural fermentation and clay stage. On this journey, the oenologist shares his technical vision, stories and secrets kept between the winery walls. It’s an authentic journey into the interior of the talha, where technical mastery and ancestral heritage cross. The experience culminates with a commented proof of carefully selected wines, providing a rare, technical and privileged perspective on the future of this millennial art.
