Take a two day tour to Petra from Jerusalem. On the first day tour Petra with your guide, and on the second day go back to tour on your own. This is an enjoyable tour, and a great way to see all of Petra without feeling rushed.
ke you to the Domestic airport in Tel Aviv. 06:30 is the flight time (time subject to availability of tickets). Upon landing please take the shuttle no #30 of Egged Company (it is located right side on the exit door upon leaving the airport). It is about 5 NIS Per Person ( About 30-35 minutes drive ) . It will take you to the main Bus station from which our representative will pick you up at 08:15-08:30 and transfer you to the Jordanian Border. He will take you to the Arava border and help you with the border proceedings. A Jordanian driver will take you to Petra, making a few stops on the way. At 11:30 arrive in Petra and start the tour with a licensed guide. At 15:30 stop for lunch. 16:30 the driver will take you to your hotel in Petra. Overnight Petra.
At about 16:30 the driver will take you back to the Arava border, on the way take a panoramic tour of Aqaba. Arrival back at the Eilat airport about 19:00. Your flight will be at 20:55, and a transfer from the Sde Dov airport in Tel Aviv at 22:00. Arival back at your hotel in Jerusalem 23:00.
