We combined your Pamukkale tour with a Hot air Balloon flight. This unique combination will take you deep into ancient history and offer you the opportunity to experience the ancient city at sunrise with a hot air balloon. You will first watch and photograph the ancient city and Cotton Castle from your hot air balloon, and then you will explore it by taking a long walk. Those who wish can then take a swimming break in the hot thermal water of Cleopatra Pool.
Deriving from springs in a cliff almost 200 m high overlooking the plain, calcite-laden waters have created at Pamukkale (Cotton Palace) an unreal landscape, made up of mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and a series of terraced basins. It is located in Turkey's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year.
You can visit the ancient city of Pamukkale without a guide, walk on the Cotton Castle and take wonderful photos. Those who wish can enjoy the thermal water in the Cleopatra pool. Pamukkale/cotton castle and Cleopatra pool entrance fee is not included in our tour. Entrance fees are around 30€ for Pamukkale and Cleopatra pool is around 6€. This area has been drawing visitors to its thermal springs since the time of classical antiquity.The Turkish name refers to the surface of the shimmering, snow-white limestone, shaped over millennia by calcite-rich springs. It was added as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 along with Hierapolis.
