For those who can’t make it over to the magical South Australian oasis that is Kangaroo Island, why not experience the beauty of KI in our very own city of Adelaide? Join us here at Popeye on a vibrant tasting tour whilst cruising along The Torrens River with special city views you’d be pressed to experience any other way.
Tasting tours run for an hour and a half and you will be guided through the experience, what you’re tasting, how the spirits are crafted and the significance of distilling from KI. Have your questions at the ready and be prepared for an insightful cruise.
You’re encouraged to pre-order a matched array of snacks sourced either from KI or locally served in your very own bamboo boat! Order as many servings as you desire, especially as we are unable to process sales of them on the day. Wouldn’t be a day out without some yummy cheese and a few KIS’!
There is a bar on board selling KIS cocktails and all of the regular favourites of beer, wine & cider.
which will be pre-set with Kangaroo Island Spirit tasting paddles consisting of three different beverages. The bar will be open for the duration of the cruise in which you can order beer, wines, spirits & cocktails from our bartender providing table service . A Kangaroo Island Spirits representative will guide passengers on board through the tastings, noting interesting stories behind the creation of the beverages, the history of Kangaroo Island Spirits and more. Passengers will have plenty of time to enjoy the view of the surrounding riverbank area during the cruise, with plenty of picturesque views you'd be hard pressed to find any other way.
At Popeye's Elder Park Landing, on the river below the Rotunda and the Festival Center. Look out for the round blue Popeye sign and a flag blowing the the breeze.
