Good Friday Easter Procession with Live Commentary and Transport

These solemn processions showcase an awe-inspiring display of faith and devotion, where life-size statues are carried on the shoulders of bearers, from the parish church through the village streets. Brass bands play marches following the beautifully carved statues, some hundreds of years old, depicting the passion and death of Jesus Christ. Local villagers dress up as Roman soldiers, Jewish priests, and important Biblical characters, depicting pivotal moments from the life and passion of Our Lord. A live commentary is given in your chosen language. Seating is included. As the function is held outdoors you are advised to wear suitable clothing.
